Nora Bakaa graduated with Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University. She then continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), where she completed four years of intensive study and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic (Cum Laude).
Dr. Bakaa is a strong believer in life-long learning, both professionally and academically. During her time at CMCC, she was awarded the CIHR Health Professional Student Research Grant and had the opportunity to work with many influential researchers. Following this experience, she was determined to continue in research, however, with a more clinical approach. She is currently completing her Master’s in Health Sciences at McMaster University, with a focus in chronic pain rehabilitation.
Her passion to help others is what drove here to this profession. She strongly believes in evidence-based and individualized treatment plans. She has been extensively trained in soft tissue therapy, spinal and extremity manipulation/mobilization and active rehabilitation. She continues to update her education to help her patients, and has recently been trained in functional movement rehabilitation (Z-Health).
